We are pleased to be able to share our 2025 PROMPT Newsletter!

We have included as much PROMPT news as possible, including a report back on our 3rd PROMPT Symposium at the end of last year, plus many other items covering the first half of 2025 – it’s been a busy 18 months for the team!

We would also like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to all multi-professional maternity teams, who have been helping to provide the best care for mothers and babies by running their local PROMPT training programmes.

PROMPT's story

As a result of the positive findings of the SaFE Study and also the associated outcome improvements at Southmead Hospital, the PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Train-The-Trainers package was developed by a dedicated group of health care professionals based in maternity units in the South West of England, UK. The package was designed to be used locally and to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.

PROMPT 2nd Annual Update (2022/23)

This is the 2nd package in our 3-year Annual Update series (2021 – 2024). This package includes the PROMPT Implementation programme (iPROMPT) and Community PROMPT for midwifery led teams.
